The Weekend Dispatch May 8, 2023

Our weekend began Friday with the final service of revival at Full Gospel Mission in Evansville, Indiana with Pastor John Eaton and all of the kind people in his congregation. We enjoyed each moment there and the service Friday night put a good cap on the end of it.

The men and women helped a lot getting things packed up and loaded and we always love that. After visiting a while, we were still able to get into bed at a decent hour for a Friday night.

Saturday we were in no hurry as we really did not even plan on going all the way home in one push. A little before noon I saw that the narrow street was mostly empty in one direction so we hooked up and hit the road as quickly as possible.

Our first stop was fifteen miles away at the Flying J on I-64. It was way past time to empty our holding tanks and we took care of that at Flying J. This location has easy entrances to all three dump stations!

We stopped two more times at Rest Areas for 30 minutes and 20 minutes respectively. I intended to stay that night at the Rest Area in northern Kentucky but it is only an hour or so from home and I pressed on. I regretted the decision once I was home, but it was done and we were home.

I turned off the water to the barn on January 1 but after I turned that on, it was a simple setup. My parents and Odie stopped for a short visit and it was great to see them. I forgot to get pictures.

Sunday we attended both services at our home church, Dryden Rd and I preached Sunday morning. It was a super great day and we enjoyed it tremendously. We were blessed to hear our Pastor preach Sunday night!

Odie saved some pictures from her active Friday and Saturday as well.

That wraps up The Weekend Dispatch. Thank you for stopping in.
