May God bless and keep and guide America on July 4, 2023.
Today is The Weekend Dispatch because I used Monday to post a tribute to KJo on her 55th Birthday. Thank you for all of the positive feedback and birthday wishes.
The Weekend Dispatch 7/4/23
Those of you that like Mile Markers with lots of pictures are going to be thrilled with today's post. I hope you enjoy!
Friday KJo and Odie made the trek to Hillsboro to see the Morgan family and from the pictures and reports, they had a great time. It looks like they got to see everyone with the exception of one or two.
I spent Friday tending to the bus, preparing to preach Sunday and working on A Word For Wednesday. I am trying to work ahead on A Word For Wednesday because it may not always be easy to record and upload in the next several weeks.
We were going to mow on Saturday morning, but didn't it rain, rain, rain! That is Okay, mowing is not my favorite activity anyway. I do it out of duty alone.😍
Saturday afternoon my parents invited us out to celebrate our anniversary and KJo's birthday. After supper it was time to mow the grass. It is unbelievable that is was dry enough after all the rain Friday night and Saturday morning, but it was. We finished just before more storms blew through.
Sunday morning I was scheduled to preach again at Dryden. We had another wonderful service and we were blessed to see great friends too! Thankfully, they all like Mexican food.😍
Bro. Terry and Sis. Gayla Guthrie from Oklahoma.
Bro. James and Sis. Stephanie Lawrence and their boys from Georgia.
Sunday evening we were scheduled to preach for Pastor EJ Lamb at Anchor of Hope near Lebanon, Ohio. We had a wonderful service to round out a fabulous day of church. We love going to Anchor and we love being with Bro. Lamb and his people. It was made even more special by having some of KJo's family visit from Hillsboro.
That wraps up our Weekend Dispatch! Thank you for joining us.
