The Weekend Dispatch 3/4/24

We had another great weekend and lived to tell about it. ❤️

We had another good day of therapy on Friday. I know I mention therapy every week, but it is an important part of our lives at the moment. We really appreciate the therapists that are helping us and I am making progress. Praise God!

Friday we had a dear friend visit in the afternoon and then we visited with family some Friday evening and for a few hours on Saturday. 

Sunday we went to Dryden Rd. for Sunday School and a baptismal service following. The teaching was great and it was wonderful to see several people baptized.

It has been a while since we have been involved in a baptismal service and we enjoyed it very much.

Sunday afternoon about 2 o’clock we actually sat outside on the west facing porch for a little while. It was a little nippy in the shade, but once we were in the sun, it was almost too warm.

I am sure we will have some cold weather yet to come, but it sure was nice to be able to sit outside for a little while. Whoever designed the porches on this house, sure is smart. 

Cousin Lisa walked over from the church and talked with us for a few minutes. We love Lisa and it is always great to see her. 

That sums up our weekend. Tomorrow we start with therapy again. I am sure that will be exciting and probably exhausting. That is as it should be.
