Bosch Electric Jack Hammer
In January I posted about the possibility of finding a better way to drive tent stakes. That post is HERE. We decided to go "used" so Bro. Landress brought the used electric Jack Hammer when he visited the tent revival in Alabama last week. Here it is.
It is a Bosch and was used as a rental but it seems to be in good working order. I have been watching Craigslist since December and haven't found very many. The ones I found that were cheap didn't last long or needed major repair. This one is $450 and that is reasonable considering what I have seen for sale.
There were some weeks last summer that driving 22 stakes was very difficult and I imagine it will be the same in some places this year. Hopefully the jack hammer will make it a whole lot easier.
Revival is going good this week in Tifton, Georgia. I wish the preaching was much better but I am working on it every day. I have one more chance get it right this week so pray for me. I will try to post pictures of the revival on Friday.
We are closing here tonight and plan to pull out early tomorrow. I need to have the oil changed in the BoggsMobile along the way and we are scheduled to start revival in Evansville, Indiana Saturday night. We will have to hurry along.
God bless you all.

Great Things Are Happening
“Odie’s View
From The Back.”
Hey everyone!! I hope all of you are doing well. We are super pumped about what has been going on around the BoggsMobile. God has been blessing us beyond words!
I left off last time while were in Broken Arrow , Oklahoma . We had a wonderful time at South Mission Holiness Church with Pastor Leon Rich. The Lord visited us there.
Thanks to Pastor Daryl Brewer and Oneta Holiness Church for allowing us to park at your church while in the area. We greatly appreciate your friendship!
Then we had seven glorious services at West Side Holiness. It was great getting to be with Pastor Darrell Meadow and all our friends for a whole week! They have always welcomed us with open arms in Claremore , Oklahoma .
Dad and Mom had a three night revival at Hilldale Holiness Church . They said it was really good. Thanks to Pastor Nathan Conner for understanding my absence.
I had the privilege of going on a vacation with my cousin Lisa Isaacs. We had a wonderful time!! Lisa going with me made my dream vacation come true!! We got to be with several friends and make many happy memories!
Our family was then reunited in Nashville , Tennessee . Dad had some trouble getting the bus there, but thank God for protecting him!! The way God worked it all out is amazing!
In Nashville the BoggsMobile received TLC from the mechanics at Prevost. Also the bus was equipped to pull the newest member of our road team.
Bro. Nathan Heneger blessed us with a different trailer for the tent and equipment. It is perfect for hauling everything and we are very thankful to have it. It is heavier than our last trailer so the BoggsMobile needed to be upgraded.
Finally we made it to Ellisville , Mississippi . We love being with Pastor Kenny Morris and everyone at 1st Assembly!! They treat us like family. The Lord moved greatly all week! It was wonderful.
We had a superb Sunday of services with Pastor Donnie Williamson. We are so grateful for our friends at Tanner Williams Holiness Church in Wilmer , Alabama .
We attended the Monday night fellowship meeting at Cedar Creek Holy Church of God in Citronelle , Alabama . It was a treat to hear our Pastor, Bro. Bennie Sutherland, deliver the word of God like only he can!
Now it was campmeeting time in Semmes , Alabama . We look forward to going to Allentown Campmeeting every March. It is a week of recharging our spiritual batteries. God moved in the preaching and around the altars again this year. Another highlight of the week is getting to see many friends from so many different places. Pastor Eugene Futral and the supporting board members and churches work so hard to put this meeting on. Thanks again for keeping the vision alive!!
It was a great privilege to be with Pastor Lamar Chapman and the fine folks at Midway Assembly again this year!! God is still moving in St. Stephens , Alabama . They have a newly remodeled sanctuary at Midway and it is beautiful!!
Summer of Tent Revivals 2012 is now here. We had an amazing week with the Whatley Holy Church of God and the Cedar Creek Holy Church of God. Pastor Gaylon Cunningham and Pastor Darius Templeton brought their churches together to reach the community of Citronelle , Alabama . We had a wonderful time under the new tent.. We look forward to 11 more weeks over the summer of God meeting us under the blue & white Gospel tent!!
Currently we are in Tifton , Georgia . We are so glad to be here with our long time friends Pastor Tony Walker and family!! This is our first visit to Pineview Holiness Baptist Church . Revival is off to a good start.
Well, I hear the engine starting so I better go ‘cause we’re On the Road Again.

The Scoop on the New Black Chairs
Do you remember the blog post when I asked your opinion about buying black chairs or white chairs for the tent? You can refresh your memory HERE.
As you can read in the comments to that and subsequent posts, black was the overwhelming choice for chair color for a variety of reasons. We ordered 200 black chairs and some of those reasons proved true the very first time we used them.
The black chairs are definitely going to hide scratches and normal wear and tear better than white chairs. Although most believed the white chairs would have looked better under the new tent initially, I must admit the black look pretty good too.
Here is a picture of them under the tent.
Here they are stacked in the trailer for the first time.
There is one problem that we noticed last week that we never experienced with the white chairs. The birds in Citronelle loved to roost on the seat backs of our new black chairs. While roosting they would leave their deposits in the chairs. We were wiping down 10-20 chairs every night and shooing birds away all day.
It was a mess but fortunately for you we did not take any pictures. Any ideas? Any suggestions?
Anyway, it's all pretty funny.

More Travel and Tifton, Georgia
Saturday night we stopped and slept at a Flying J near Tallahassee, Florida. In March 2008 we stayed at the very same truck stop the first night we owned the BoggsMobile. It was a horrible night!
I was about to have a nervous breakdown about buying the bus. Diesel was $4 a gallon for the first time in my life, I could barely drive the monstrosity I had just purchased, I broke the passenger side mirror pulling in and the generator wouldn't start. The girls went to bed and I sat in the driver's seat the rest of the night and stared out the window. I was still sitting there when the sun came up. Like I said, it was a horrible night.
Last night was much better, praise God. We rested good and the generator started and ran fine. We left there around mid morning and arrived in Tifton about 2:00. We have preached several revivals for Pastor Tony Walker but this is our first revival here. The service was great tonight and we are expecting even better.
We didn't get any pictures at church but snapped a few at Steak & Shake. I am sure we will have more later in the week. Thanks for praying for us.
Davy
