The Tent Goes Up Near Florence, Montana

The Blue and White Gospel tent is up near Florence, Montana. The folks from Sun Valley church showed up about 8 Friday morning and by 9:20 the tent was up, the lights were hung and the chairs were in place. These folks really work good together. Bro. Jimmy Radcliffe and his son Zack are here from Tulsa, Oklahoma. They are always a good addition to any work crew. They had a difficult time getting here but I am so glad they made it. They jumped in and worked hard on the tent setup and several other things the church was doing to prepare. The church has set up a second tent to feed meals under during the day next week. I think we are going to have a grand time. God bless, Davy

Glacier National Park - A Few Pictures

Yesterday we took the Green Machine for a long drive and drank in all of the Montana scenery that we could in one day. It was a wonderful day!

We left about 6:40 in the morning and drove up by Salmon Lake, Seeley Lake and Swan Lake to get the west entrance of Glacier National Park. It is not the most direct route but we love that drive. We drove the Going to the Sun Rd up to Logan's Pass and had a picnic lunch up there.

Then we drove back to the west entrance and down through Kalispell toward Missoula. This route takes you around Flathead lake. That has to be one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. If there is a prettier one then I sure would like to see it some day!

We were all three taking pictures so these are not in any particular order. Kelly Jo took some absolutely gorgeous pictures but we do not have enough internet to get them transferred over to the blog for some reason. Maybe we can post them later.

Montana Tent Revival

Pastor Metzger and his folks have been working hard to prepare for the tent revival here at Sun Valley Church in Florence, Montana. I know that God is going to bless their efforts. We are praying for lost souls to be added to the kingdom and for entire families to be added to the church during this revival.

Please join us in prayer. I really want and need you to sincerely pray that folks will be saved. I know from experience that God will meet with us during the tent revival. I know He will draw men and women to Himself. I know He will save, heal and deliver. I know He will bless His people. Pray that we will be sensitive to the voice of the Lord and obedient as well.

We plan to set the tent up Friday morning before the heat of the day. Saturday we will have a prayer meeting/dedication service and then we will kick off the revival under the tent on Sunday morning.

Bro. Lockwood and his sons moved the tent trailer into place yesterday. Later in the evening Odie went to youth service and Kelly Jo helped me lay out the stake line so everything is marked and ready to go.

Today will be our only free day so we are planning to take a long drive. Maybe we can get some good pictures and post them here later. Or you could come and see beautiful Montana for yourself! IF you do, I promise you will never get over it!
