City Reach Wichita - Revival In Pictures

It is very late Sunday night/early Monday morning so not much of a report but we have lots and lots of pictures from City Reach Wichita. I can not wait to tell you about it but it will have to wait a day or two.

Thanks for checking in and I hope you enjoy the pictures.

This company provided the portable bathrooms at a greatly discounted rate for City Reach and plus they cleaned them every day. I sure appreciate their contribution.

Our View Out The Front Window 9/13/2015

Check out our posts from the last week at the links below.

This was our view out the window the first part of the week on the corner of Lincoln and Hydraulic in Wichita, Kansas.

When the fire inspector came to inspect the tent he wanted the bus and trailer to be at least 20 feet away from the tent stakes. We backed up the bus so this was our view the rest of the week.

This was our view out the front door.

Tonight is the last night of City Reach Wichita. It has been a phenomenal week of revival and we are very thankful that God has helped us. I hope to sit down some time this week and gather some of my observations and thoughts about it.

We hope to take the tent down after church tonight. I really need to be packed up and ready to go toward Mississippi as early as possible Monday morning. Please pray for a great service tonight and for things to go smoothly during the take down and packing up.

I hope you have a great Sunday. Thanks for reading.

Praying for James and John Holland

Hey!

This is Odie writing to you once again from Kansas. We are having a fantastic week at City Reach Wichita. Thanks to everyone for the prayer! God is answering your prayers!

We appreciate all of you that called, text or emailed letting us know you were helping carry the burden of prayer this week. I wish all of you could have experienced God moving in countless lives!  We still have two more City Reach services here in Wichita. I am expecting a great cap to a wonderful week.

Please continue to pray for the lives that were touched this week. They really need to get in these local churches and seek God. I would love to come back to Wichita and see changed and free individuals!

In August Dad told you about Bro. JJ and Sis. Bailey Holland they were in Ohio for special care for their babies. Bailey was carrying twin boys. I was thrilled it worked out that we were in Ohio at the same time as my friends,

When in Ohio you to eat at Acapulco. It is a must for us!

Pastor Bill Lamb with the Hollands and their niece

We were able to see Bro. JJ and Sis. Bailey a couple Wednesday nights ago at their home church in Ellisville, Mississippi. They were praising God for all the miracles He had given their sons already! The next day they went to Jackson, Mississippi, which will be there home away from home for a while.

The twins were born in Jackson last week. They weighed in at 1lb 10 oz and 3lb 7oz. They are little guys but they are fighters. Bailey has given me permission to write about James and John and to post pictures.

James is doing very good. He just needs a little oxygen. They think he can leave the hospital in a few weeks. John needs a miracle! He has a long ways to go. They are anticipating the need for heart surgery in a couple months.

God is able to give them a complete healing! Join me in believing with and praying for the entire Holland family.  They are blessed with wonderful pastors and a caring church family but you can never have too much prayer!

Thank you for reading today. We plan to travel toward Richton, Mississippi Monday. City Reach Richton is scheduled to begin Friday. We are looking forward to a mighty move of God!

I will leave you for now with pictures of precious James and John Holland. They have already tugged at my heart strings and I can not wait to meet them.

Thankful

The post is going up considerably late today but I have an excuse, really. In fact, I think I hit the triple crown in excuses and none of them include the dog eating my homework..

First, we had speaker trouble.

Second, we had piano trouble.

Third, in the middle of all that we had bus trouble.

However, I have so much to be thankful for.

1. I am smack dab in the middle of a sovereign move of God!

2. I am among churches full of people that are thoughtful, helpful and dependable.

3. I have a great wife that just rolls with the punches and never, never gives up.

4. I have Jimmie Radcliffe with me to carry on with the responsibilities that would other wise fall on me.

5. The speakers were in the shop and the problem would not duplicate. They seem to be working now.

6. The piano is in the shop right now and they just called to say it is ready. We will pick it up in a few minutes.

7. Jeff Rowe from East Tennessee Luxury Coach is still answering his phone and patiently tries to talk me through my bus woes.

8. Village Tours and Travel, a Charter company in town let me pull over their pit to inspect the bus issue. The problem would not duplicate while I was there and seems fine now. Kevin and David at Village were terrific and would not allow me to pay them a dime even when I insisted.

9. Friday night of revival starts is just a few hours and God is going to help in a might way.

And finally, number 10...

At least I am not pastoring a church!

Thanks for praying for us.
